Michelle Wie on Top of Another List, but it isn’t golf, again.

Michelle Wie is on the top of another list that isn’t related to a golf tournament.
Michelle Wie is number 4 on the top 20 richest celebrities under 25. The top 4 on the list are athletes with the obvious first going to Lebron James.
Michelle Wie, who struggled this year in golf tournaments still brought in $19 million. Most of that sponsor money from people banking on her expected golf talent.
The next tournament that she could be involved in the Sony Open, might not even happen for her even though Sony is one of her sponsors. Tadd Fujikawa has already been invited and Michelle Wie will probably be next on the list.
All this is good but I guess Michelle Wie knows as well as anyone else that she needs to get her golf back on track. She had a torrid time in ’07 and that might well be a mighty understatement. Maybe time spent in Stanford might have helped her ease the pressure, clear up her mind. Now she will have to summon all her talent to get her career back on track.
She starts her 2008 campaign next month and her sponsors will definitely be hoping that she’s got the game. Of course if she does not find her game again then you can be rest assured she won’t find herself on this list again because the sponsorship money would have vanished and a talent would simply wither away into oblivion
